Dr. George R. Duquette has sought excellence in education
throughout his career. After graduating from Auburn University
"with high honors" in only three years, he received early
admission to Vanderbilt University Medical School. He received
his M.D. degree from Vanderbilt and completed four years of
general surgery training in the Department of Surgery at the
University of Colorado in Denver.
With the completion of his specialty training in Colorado,
Dr. Duquette moved to Richmond, Virginia where he completed
his Plastic Surgery Fellowship at The Medical College of
Virginia. Dr. Duquette then trained in Miami, Florida with
world-renowned plastic surgeons, Doctors Baker and Gordon.
A fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Duquette
is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a
member of numerous professional societies and is the past
president of the Alabama Society of Plastic and Reconstructive
Surgeons. |
